What is your clothing line all about?
Catch 22 Clothing is about expression. Its about a mentality. Its about self image and awareness. The philosophy behind the line is to give the consumer an outlet to express the self confidence and conservative ego that people want to show, but without going over the top. We want to positively effect a person's mindstate anytime they step out of the house wearing Catch 22 gear.

Before the clothing company was in effect, what was your previous occupation?
I was in sales management in the car industry.

Which clients have you had?
Wow, where can I start. We have been fortunate enough to work with retail stores, rappers, entertainers, and the like, from Scweez, Mista F.A.B, Deuce ( out of New York), and Starsky to a host of KMEL & WILD 94.9 on air personalities and Mad Linx from BET's Rap City.

What makes your clothing unique compared to the competition?
We're unique because we set trends instead of adapting to them. We research what's hot, and predict the future trends, then build products around that philosophy. Plus, we produce in limited quanities to keep the exclusive feel, and so we don't flood the market with our product....and our branding philosphy is built behind a popular "catch" phrase ( no pun intended), so the market has taken to us a lot quicker.

What styles of clothing do you create?
We are the only company to make the official, trademarked Stunna Shades sunglass product, which has been a huge success. We also will feature jeans, sweaters, boy shirts, headwear, belts, hoodies, boy short sets, for girls, and other women's apparel. Pretty much, the whole gammit, just with our Catch 22 feel to it.

How has the journey of the company been like for you?
Man, its been a hustle, hands down. You have your ups, and downs, but this industry is not for the weak. If you believe in your product, see it's potential, and secure your vision, you will be hard to stop. So I take that mentality with me everyday in this game. It's been a journey of learning experiences as well as successes. I would have to say that I'm more than pleased with our progress and the support we've got from the clientel, but we have a lot more hustlin' to do!

Where do you see your company going in five years?
In 5 years, look to see us in every major fashion capital across the globe. Look to see the major entertainment icons wearing our gear. We plan to have a few exclusive Catch 22 retail stores nationwide, and expect to see our branding everywhere you turn. We're gonna change the way you look at sophisticated urban apparel, so by that time, we will have set the standard.

Right now, you can purchase our Stunna Shades product at Foot Express in Hayward, Oxford Street at BayFair Mall, La Familia Clothing in East Palo Alto, Garage Ink Tattoos in Hayward, Filthy Dripped Art Couture in Berkeley, Air Magic in Vallejo, and Stackman Clothing in San Leandro.
